In this video, we’ll show you how to enable it and protect your website with just a few clicks. Let’s get started. Start by logging in to your Cloudways account. Once in, click on the sidebar menu and go to My Applications. Select the application you want to protect, click on the Application Security dropdown. Here you will find the Malware protection option. Malware scanning is free. You can review any detections and either remove them manually or click the Enable Protection button to activate the add on for automatic cleanup. Once enabled, the system will automatically start scanning your application for potential malware. You’ll see three helpful tabs here. Any malware detected during scans will appear in the malicious tab, along with actions taken. You’ll see details like status, type, scan date, action taken. If no threats are found, you’ll see a, all clear message. Scan History tab logs all past scans and provides a detailed report including scan, date, type, number of items scanned, results and actions taken to ensure ongoing security.
